The Mixed Method Certification
The Mixed Method (TMM) is a Pilates Instructor Training Program offering a hybrid of classical and contemporary techniques and disciplines, mixed with an evolutionary approach to Pilates instructorship. In other words: you'll learn the indispensable, foundational basics of the Pilates methodology, as well as how to incorporate those basics into a personalized teaching style that is fun, modern, safe, and thoughtful.
Our teaching method has seven available courses for students to learn how to teach both mat and equipment-based Pilates. Unlike many other certifications, student-instructors are not required to complete every phase of the program to be certfied in one apparatus category. You can choose to complete anywhere from a single course to all seven. Just pick, match, or mix it up.
We welcome potential trainees from all walks of life, and our individual practical courses take roughly 2-3 weekends to complete. Our emphasis is on the practice teaching component, observation hours, and personal practice hours versus long commitments of studio workshop hours - keeping the program accessible and more affordable for all.
